This conceptual work is a reaction to the format of traditional art museums. The architecture and organization often force the viewer to think that art exists only as the objects displayed on the wall with a placard. I find art and design beyond the walls; it exists in the cracks and crevices of these museums and institutions if you look for it. People dance around the halls of museums and create organic performance art—each photo and selfie adding layers to a greater tapestry.

This was a single print from a series of prints with the same imagery that had different compositional arrangements for each. I chose to sample imagery that would force the viewer to look and interact with this piece. I intended for this work to be placed in an atypical setting such as the floor or ceiling, rather than having it displayed on a wall.
