2019 

Personal design exploration and animation for “love hurts”.

This design directly references (musician) Playboi Carti’s track “love hurts (ft. Travis Scott)” and draws aesthetic inspiration from Apple’s iMessage format. I created this design with the intention to learn and develop a simple spinning animation; however, the roll-out of this project soon became another detail of focus. I knew that this design would best reach Playboi Carti’s fanbase on Instagram through his niche of influencers, and worked with a few of these accounts to release an infinitely-looping video of the spinning animation on Valentine’s Day 2019.
